Mogens Dahl Concert Hall presents Klassisk i Baggården – Young Soloists Live, a new concert format for a young and curious audience, featuring some of the most exciting young classical musicians on stage.
This is a chance to meet some of the most promising young Nordic soloists and ensembles in an informal concert setting, where intimacy, communication and a sense of community are just as important as virtuosity. The musicians introduce the music themselves, sharing their thoughts on the works, their own experiences of performing them, and what to listen out for.
After the concert, the conversation continues in a moderated session, giving the audience an opportunity to get closer to both the music and the people behind it.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
Meet Ensemble X-audi, a new chamber ensemble made up of young Danish musicians with a strong ambition to renew the classical concert experience. Initiated by conductor Nicholas Algot Swensen, the ensemble brings together around 20 young soloists who share a strong artistic drive and a desire to demonstrate just how vibrant and relevant classical music is today.
For the first concert in Klassisk i Baggården, Ensemble X-audi presents a programme of energetic and boundary-pushing music by Arnold Schönberg and John Adams. During the concert, the musicians will give an informal introduction to the works, and afterwards the audience will have the opportunity to meet them for a conversation about the music and their work.
