Olesens Musikpris: Prisoverrækkelse

Cellist Jonathan Swensen is the first recipient of the Olesen Music Award, established by the Erik and Susanna Olsen Charitable Foundation, and presented at this concert.

The prize of DKK 500,000 is not open to applications, but is awarded to an exceptional musical talent on the verge of an international breakthrough.

At the award ceremony, Jonathan Swensen is joined by Finnish pianist Juho Pohjonen in a duo programme that unfolds like a musical journey through the entire spectrum of colour – from piercing white to the deepest black.
